Some products for the upcoming Magic: The Gathering release, Secrets of Strixhaven, won't be arriving at retailers in time according to Wizards of the Coast.
According to the company, Secrets of Strixhaven Commander Decks and Bundles will be partially delayed to North American stores. This means that, at some retailers, they won't arrive in time for Prerelease sales, which begins April 17. Wizards notes that this delay does not affect Codex Bundles, which don't release until May.
"We expect limited availability of Commander Decks in time for Prerelease; Bundles will be delayed until the following week or later, explains Wizards of the Coast Community Manager, Nelson Brown. "These products will be released across multiple waves in the weeks following Prerelease."
Magic players are encouraged to contact their local games stores to find out whether or not those stores are expected to be affected by the delays.
