Wizards up 31%, Hasbro up 15% in Q3 2026 says company

Hasbro has relleased its financial results for the third quarter of 2026 and things are looking up overall.

According to the report, Hasbro's revenue increased by 15% compared to last year.  This growth was mostly fueled by increases from subsidiary Wizards of the Coast, but consumer products and entertainment also showed small gains.

As for Wizards of the Coast itself, its revenue increased by 31percent, led by a 34 gain from Magic: The Gathering thanks to growth from the releases of The Hobbit and Reality Fracture.  Monopoly Go! contributed $41 million of revenue in the third quarter as well.

“Inspiring a lifetime of play is our superpower, and this quarter showed what it can do,” said Chris Cocks, Hasbro Chief Executive Officer. “We delivered a fourth consecutive quarter of double-digit revenue growth, and Magic: The Gathering topped $600 million in quarterly revenue for the first time. Our asset-light licensing model lets great partners extend our brands while we focus on what we do best. With a Magic lineup that keeps building, we expect a strong finish to 2026 and continued growth in 2027.”

Year-to-date, Hasbro's revenue increased by 15% with the company's Wizards and Digital Gaming Segment increasing by 28%.  Magic: The Gathering went up 34% since the beginning of the year.  The collectible card game benefited from growth in tabletop and digital revenues, across first-party and Universes Beyond sets.
