For the third consecutive year, Wizards of the Coast will be coming out with tournament-quality, pre-constructed Challenger Decks for Magic: The Gathering.

The decks, which are slated for release on Apr. 3, 2020, are being described by WotC as "perfect starting points for anyone wanting to jump into events at their local game store."

Just like with the product line's previous editions, the 2020 Challenger Decks will be individual, 75-card decks (broken into a 60-card main deck and a 15-card sideboard) that are geared toward Magic's Standard format for the Friday Night Magic level of competition.  WotC says that all of the cards found within the decks will have been previously printed in Standard and are Standard-legal.  This includes cards from Theros Beyond DeathMagic: The Gathering's next Standard-legal expansion releasing Jan. 24, 2020.

Previous releases in the Challenger Deck series include those released in 2019 and 2018.
