WotC: All Secret Lair Secretversary 2021 items delayed

The release of Magic: The Gathering's Secret Lair Secretversary 2021 has been delayed.

According to a notice circulated via email by Wizards of the Coast, the company has had to move back the shipping date for every item within its Secretversary 2021 Secret Lair drop, which was available for order between November 30 and December 14 of last year.

While most of the items sold for Secretversary 2021 are only seeing a small delay by having their release date moved from April 22 to May 6, 2022, one item, the "Heads I Win, Tails You Lose" commander deck now has an estimated and tentative ship window of Fall 2022 -- meaning that there is a chance that it may not ship out until a whole year after some had ordered it (Fall runs from Sept. 23 until Dec. 21).

Says Wizards, "We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and want to show you how much we appreciate your patience and support by providing two (2) NEO Collector Boosters per debited order containing a Heads I Win, Tails You Lose commander deck. These Collector Boosters will be shipped by themselves, in a separate wave of shipments."

Regardless of the delayed ship dates for the products, Wizards says that payment collection for the items will begin on April 21 for all orders that were not previously paid for at checkout.

Those wishing to cancel their Secretversary 2021 orders can do so by contacting the company's customer service team.  Furthermore, Secret Lair production and shipping status information can be found on the Wizards Support Site.
