In memory of the late "Godfather of Commander," Sheldon Menery, Wizards of the Coast has announced a new Secret Lair drop.
The Secret Lair, which is called "Sheldon's Spellbook," is not only an homage to Menery, it is also a fund raiser for the American Cancer Society. Menery succumbed to cancer in the latter half of last year after a years-long battle against the ailment.
"Sheldon was a remarkable leader, mentor, and friend, and I am unbelievably excited that he is going to be immortalized in the game he gave so much to," says Shivam Bhatt of the Commander Advisory Group. "Supporting the American Cancer Society is a slam dunk."
The exact contents and pricing of the Secret Lair, which will be available from Feb. 26 through March 24, will be unveiled Thursday, Feb. 15, at 5 p.m. Pacific Time via the Commander Rules Committee's Twitch stream.
