Four Marvel Comics Spider-Man action figures are coming out later this year bundled with exclusive Magic: The Gathering cards.
The questions are where and when can collectors get their hands on them.
The figures, which have a street date of Oct. 1, likely won't be found where Magic players tend to find most of their cards as local game stores are unlikely to receive any of the product.
"This product is being distributed through toy distribution channels as opposed to Core Hobby distributors," explains Nelson Brown, Wizards Play Network's Community Manager.
That implies that the figures are more likely to be found at toy stores, big-box stores, and other such retailers where action figures are commonly found for sale.
Each of the four figures come bundled with a specific Magic: The Gathering card special to that item. Three of the four cards will be found in the Universes Beyond Magic: The Gathering set whereas the fourth is a reprint from a previous, in-universe Magic set.
"Spectacular Spider-Man; Anti-Venom, Horrifying Healer; and Iron Spider, Stark Upgrade all appear in Magic: The Gathering | Marvel's Spider-Man as part of the main set," the company points out. "Huntmaster of the Fells does not appear in the set. However, the idea of depicting Man-Wolf using this card had us howling, so we are excited to include it in this promotion."
Magic: The Gathering | Marvel's Spider-Man (the set itself) releases on Sept. 26, 2025.
