Let's crack open a trio of Iconic Masters booster packs and see what's inside!
The set released in November of 2017 and is made up entirely of reprints, but don't let that make you think there's no value to be had with it.
In fact, the set (as of script writing) boasts 13 non-foil cards worth in the double digits with seven of those topping $20 apiece according to price guides. Topping that list are:
- Mythic rare Mana Drain at $45.98;
- Mythic rare Avacyn, Angel of Hope at $35.50;
- Archangel of Thune, yet another mythic rare, at $34.13;
- Consecrated Sphynx, again at Mythic, at $24.25;
- Rare Serra Ascendant at $21.65,
- Rare dragon Kokusho, the Evening Star at $21.25, and;
- Flusterstorm, a rare counterspell, at $20.33.
These booster packs were purchased at Aegis Games in Bellingham, Washington, for $12.99 apiece. That’s about $39 for the trio (before tax).
