A new type of booster pack is being introduced when Bloomborrow hits the Magic: The Gathering scene this August.
Called a "Value Booster," Wizards of the Coast says the new type of booster pack will be available at select retailers and will consist of seven cards per pack.
"While Collector Boosters are perfect for fans who want all the collest cards and Play Boosters are built to bolster collectios by being opened to play Magic, Value Boosters are a smaller, lighter booster that contain a handful ofnew cards any can can enjoy," says WotC's Adam Styborski.
Being called a "budget-friendly way to experience Bloomburrow," each Value Booster pack will contain three commons, two uncommons, one card of any rarity, and one card that might be either a land, a traditional foil, or a "Special Guest" card.
Neither pricing nor which select retailers will carry this new type of booster pack have been announced by the company.
Bloomburrow is set for release on Aug. 2.
