The wait is finally over for Magic: The Gathering fans as Cryptic Games and Perfect World Entertainment announce the public open beta release of Magic: Legends.

Available for PC, this Diablo-style online action RPG lets players into the chaos of spell-slinging combat as they visit four iconic locations in the Magic multiverse.  Players will need to make fast, tactical decisions on the battlefield in real-time combat as well as strategically build a deck of spells from their spell library, which will be drawn at random as they fight.  There are also myriad equipment and artifacts to synergize with the player's deck in order to craft their desired playstyle.

It all can be witnessed in the trailer below.

A free-to-play title, Magic: Legends will ultimately be playable on Windows PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.

Interested gamers can download Magic: Legends via Arc or the Epic Games Store.
